Mentoring and coaching

We all go on CPD courses to improve our clinical skills. But Clinical CPD doesn’t have the answers to all of our problems.

Many vets across the country struggle day in day out with non clinical problems that are just as important as being able to use an ultrasound machine.

Are you or is someone in your team struggling with the following:

  • Stressful working environment?
  • Time management issues?
  • Billing inappropriately for the work undertaken?
  • Interaction with other staff members?
  • Managing difficult colleagues?

In modern veterinary practice clients have high expectations and there are huge demands on our time and resources. If these are not managed well then the results are demotivated and disillusioned staff. A disaster for your career or business.

A mentor or coach can help individuals or teams learn the life skills they need to succeed in this fast paced environment.

Send a disorganised vet on an ultrasound course and the next ultrasound they do will be a higher standard but they still won’t be able to do more ultrasounds than before.

Let a coach help them to develop time management skills and they’ll be able to do more work in a less stressed way. Hugely improving the return on your investment in the future. (And improving the quality of life for everyone else in the practice as well!)
